Now Hiring! The Weight Loss Counselor creates an atmosphere of support and presents the SlimGenics program to our clients. Understands the sensitive nature of the client experience and finds every opportunity to enable the client’s success. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the SlimGenics program and delivers information in a clear and concise manner. Provides appropriate support, encouragement and motivation to clients at every opportunity. Records details of each client visit, with special attention provided to clients with medical concerns. The position provides general support to center management and demonstrates a willingness to assist as needed. Endeavors to ensure client success and sustain client accountability through regular client contact and words of encouragement.
Enthusiastic attitude and passion for health and nutrition a must! Nursing, Nutrition or Medical background a plus!
Candidates must possess friendly and outgoing personality and enjoy working with people. Customer service and sales experience required, must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate strong organizational abilities. Discretion, honesty and integrity in all transactions and interactions is critical.
> Education: College degree desired (psychology, counseling, health, nutrition, nursing a plus)
> Minimum of 2 years customer service / sales experience
> Phone experience mandatory – calling clients regularly to support their progress is required
> Must be able to multi-task with accuracy, have a friendly demeanor and be a team player
> Candidates must complete a two-week training class and pass a written examination on the SlimGenics program
Only full-time (38+ hours per week) positions available. Variable / flexible days and hours. Saturday is a required work day for all Counselors. Rotating schedule including Saturdays. May float between three selected locations as necessary. Must be available to work 38 hour schedule during all hours of operation as required.
Employees must be able to work during SlimGenics operational hours:
8am to 7pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday 8am to 3pm.
